Bio

My love for music started at a young age with a basement full of vinyl records and tunes rocking in the house all through my childhood. I got lucky my dad had good taste in rock n roll, and I appreciated my mom's love of 80s dance music.
I always gravitated towards the arts with music as my life's therapist. As I got older, I met a musician, who would become my partner in crime for a lifetime. He opened my world to the "behind the scenes," and the fine details of what my ears were hearing. In my 20s, I moved to Nashville and was an early team member of Jack White's Third Man Records. I was there for the grand opening, and release of The Dead Weather's "Horehound." Years later, I would help with fellow Raconteurs memeber Brendan Benson's label Readymade Records.
Later, with the help of my friends, we would start a John Lennon tribute band, with all the music post Beatles. Yes, I performed as Yoko. Yes, we did "Mother." Circumstances forced us to disband, but anyone in the audience witnessed an incredible show.
My research skills started with American history and genealogy, being a honorary member of a few historical societies, which then led to deep diving on music history. I had picked up many stories along my life's adventure too.
I dig painting on canvas, old trucks (especially Chevy/GMC from 1955-1958,) and finding a hidden gem of knowledge from strangers.
I look forward to continuing to fill my noggin' with new knowledge and skills and grow the complexities that make us human. ♡
